The Conference of the Parties, in paragraph 23 of decision VII/30, established an Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Review of Implementation of the Convention. In paragraph 24 of the same decision, it invited Parties, other Governments and relevant organizations to submit views on issues to be addressed by the Working Group. In this regard, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and Chatham House, are convening an informal workshop on the Implementation and Effectiveness of the Convention on Biological Diversity from 11 to 13 May 2005 at Chatham House in London, United Kingdom.
