Global Biodiversity Outlook 5 (GBO5), is the flagship publication of the Convention on Biological Diversity. Now in its fifth edition (GBO-5), the report provides a final assessment of progress towards the 20 global biodiversity targets agreed in 2010 (the Aichi Biodiversity Targets). It also identifies necessary transitions to reach the 2050 Vision for Biodiversity and sets out the evidence base for the development of an ambitious and transformative post-2020 global biodiversity framework.
