ANIEC 2010 was launched in English, French and Spanish on 9 November 2009, to seek the views of the larger biodiversity family on the design of the post 2010 biodiversity strategy. After eight months of dialogue, more than 500 messages have been received. It closed on 30 June 2010, and a summary of the discussion will be made available to the participants of the tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to Convention on Biological Diversity to be held from 18 – 29 October 2010. The summary will also be sent to all participants of ANIEC.
